Description
My version of a Tron: Legacy Light Cycle. The original is a lot bigger and about twice as long as this version. Although this is very much influenced by the style of the film, I took some inspiration from H.R.Giger with the way the helmet sort of fuses with the machine. originally ( you will see in the WIP's) the helmet and bike were one.The film was OK...the visuals and the soundtrack more than made up for the mediocre storyline...in my opinion. And there is always Olivia Wilde!

u snapped on the electricity faintly on the backend. coulda used some more anterior/backlighting on the back hub/ maybe a lil more cool in the front. all ur work is amazing

I haven't seen the movie yet, I confess! >_< But I happen to design a bike for our flash game and guess what was the referenc? ^_- But it's one wheel and completely different,but it has a light circle TADA! XD Anyways lovely drawing!Very neat and I love the lights effects! Gotto post my small cartoon bike as well ^____^

PFF... after i wrote a whole poem about this work... i accidentally pressed the x button, trying to switch to your work tab -.- sooooo very anoying. Aaaanyway.
Nice work, overall like it a lot, the colors, the yellow/dark contrast.
Nice blending as well, enjoy this kind of stuff.
There are two things that i dont like that much:
1. the lower part of the 'bicicle' that yellow part which i guess is the motor or something, looks too organic for tron theme.
2. as you might have guessed, the rear view representation.. lol... imho it cuts from its dinamism.
Anyway, its a nice piece.

Yeah i agree with you about art theft, but still it might stop the more noobish thiefs or at least give them a bit of pain in the behind

I only use it if I want to get an artificial light like neon. It just intensifies the colour

they shouldn't of even made a new tron movie, or somebody else should of made it, cuz they really fucked it up, changed so much stuff from the original, had some really poor actors, poor ideas, strange ways of doing things, completely changed the uniforms. it seems so stupid how so many people loved it thought, but thats probably because they never have seen the first movie.

I've seen the first film ( many many years ago though ) and my interpretation of it was that like technology in general, the grid had evolved over the last 25 years...hence the change in costumes and graphics.
