the background is lightened by photoshop, hue/saturation, scanned with a kodak film scanner, with tmax channel, but the original is a color negative. sry bout my english

there is something very calming and comforting about her posture and expression..
very serene gaze, coupled with a relaxed yet demure/feminine pose..
i enjoy the black and white, as well as the choice to keep this a simple studio shot..
