That is latex from throat to toe, only his head is free, even his hair is coiled in latex. Yes he will be very very hot.

I'm sure also your design can work on real life. With near future technologies I think it can be 3D printed a custom condom thick suit as the one he has, and with the correct lining of some stretchy Kevlar like product let the suit ve shiny, tearproof and gliding wonderfully on a body
