Ok so this is a big one for me, spent a lot of time tweaking the colours and getting it just right. Princess Mononoke is my favorite film ever (and when I say favourite film I mean it. I even did my University dissertation on Miyazaki) , and so it deserved my time and attention to get this right. I think its my best piece to date, hope you like it.Related content

I also love this scene too and not just because it's the ending here. I also love this movie. Years from now, people will say, "Hey, you know that movie. Princess Mononoke. That was such a classic."

hehe thanks, this one took me ages to do, when it comes to accurate drawings you just have to really take your time planning out the scene before you start blocking in the detail. I'm still not 100% happy with this one because Yakuul is a bit fat and the faces of San and Ashitaka are a bit off. I did a new pic of Ashitaka last night and I'm really happy with how the face came out, just got to colour it now.

Thank you, I recently got to see this at a cinema in Nottingham which was amazing as I never thought I'd get to see it on the big screen. No one will ever understand the love I feel for this film. It is my favourite movie, not just Ghibli but of any other film of any other genre.

wow, it looks like the movie! The things that gave it away were San's hair, Ashitaka's nose, and Yakul's face. It's AMAZING!

I made up for Sans face with my new one but I'm not happy with my eboshi

the only things you need to work on are perspective and shading. If you can master perspective of faces and hands, you're good 2 go!
The only thing I would change in this new one (San V. Eboshi) is to make your lines sharper and more dignified or straight, and Eboshi actually is mad and (supposed to be) smirking, too.
