V4 with morphs, lost the original file due to a software failure, would have to search to find it again. Did save the render though.

I kinda like the features but would love to detach the widows as I'm working on a 2 screen system now. I can drag the material node and dynamic node over to window 2 and keep tweaking.

I've learned to live with most of the problems. DAZ 3 doesn't like my video circuitry in my laptop. So sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't I end up having to give the computer the 3 finger salute and do an 'end process' on DAZ. XP is a stable enough platform that I don't get the blue screens that apparently happen in Vista, but sometimes, if I put a bit too much content it, it simply locks up.

Maybe someday I'll have enough money saved to buy a desktop again. Load up on main memory and video memory, stuff as many drives in as you can fit, and hang on!

I'm still working on a dell dimension 3k, 6 years old but upgraded the ram to 2 gig, upped the drives and just added a 1T external for all the 3d stuff I'm installing. I'd love to get a new desktop but can't stand the thought of rebuilding all that I use on this one.

What models do you use? I just got a great lil cr2 for V4 that shrinks her down to L3 size, now I can use all those freebies I got for L3!

Ah, then your desktop is about the same as my laptop. It's got 2 gigs of main ram, and a fair sized external drive. I've got my eye on a new main harddrive, since they're 'obsolete' and will be going away before long. Besides, my 'C' drive is getting close to full. When I redo everything, I'm going to move everything I possibly can to an external drive, and back it up!

Word to the wise: I've heard and read a lot of bad things about the terabyte drives. They seem to fail much more often than smaller drives. An old friend who works for Western Digital says he's noticed it, and it's not just their drives---it's everyone's...

I use V4, A4 and occasion A3. I've got the kids (K4 & millenium) and all of the series 3 characters, but I don't use them.
