With this setup we see several effects related to the wrong refraction handling of DAZ3D giving the necessary informations about the objects of the scene to the render engine.Again the angle of the shadowline under the water surface is wrong in a similar way compared to the 3Delight render.
But additionally, it seems the calculation of the refracted shadowline starts already at the shading object instead of the refractive surface.
My conclusion:
It must be a bug of the DAZ3D program, because the wrong angle of the refracted shadowline look similar in both render engine results. And the probability that two different companies (3Delight and nVidia) make the same mistake must be near zero. So it only can be a bug in the DAZ3D software, what is refused by the DAZ3D developer team.
