Description
Blue RosesThis is not a photo manipulation. I put the roses in dye and the stems drew the liquid into the petals.

I know this old trick! My grandmother showed it to me when i was little! It works with any kind of flower, not only with roses! Thanks of reminding me of it!

Thank you. I made it work by cutting a short stem and dipping it in a vial of food coloring. By putting it in a vial, no bigger than a test tube, you get the most color concentration out of it. Also, put the flower and leaves in sunlight. The sunlight makes the plant suck up the water like a straw.

The roses are fantastic! I love where you placed them too. The lighting and white flowers give them a chilly look like they are set in the middle of winter and desiring an early spring!

You are very observant and the only person to notice that.
I gave these to my wife after we saw two anime shows where blue flowers were factored in the show.
Thanks for the fave!

AndySerrano In reply to KitsuneSyraph [2008-01-14 03:58:55 +0000 UTC]
I put food coloring in a vase and let the roses absorb it through the stem. It took 3 days. Try it!
