Caracol Mayan ObservatoryThis is the Mayan Mayan Observatory "Caracol" at Chichen Itza, Yucan, Mexico. It was built somewhere around 600 AD. I was visiting Cancun during Christmas 2008.

on Caracol Mayan Observatory. It is mystifying to see an an ancient observatory and it makes you wonder if people in the future will look at what we've done and also be mystified. They wouldn't let us climb on it.
