What a gorgeous shot! Those girls don't know how lucky they are. I'd love to walk across that though I'd worry about tripping and getting swept under a current.

The pools were very shallow and the current was gentle. You'd have loved it

on Crossing Havasupai. All you have to do is walk for 6 hours down into the Grand Canyon. (The hard part is walking back out!) I originally took this photo in 2005 when I photographed [link] Havasupai Falls. I am very happy you like it. [link]

on Japanese Garden and Pool. A Japanese garden brings serenity and nature into our hectic lives. They remind us of the natural landscape, yet they are carefully controlled by man. They are nature-inspired, but they do not grow naturally. [link]

on Footbridge to Paradise The rain is abundant. It's always clearing the air. Everything is growing. Paradise is everywhere. [link]

on my Japanese Bonsai series. It takes a special serenity and patience to enjoy the tranquility of Japanese bonsai. [link] [link] [link] [link] [link]
