This old barge used to prop up an equally old merchant ship, which the owner had plans to turn into a floating tea/coffee shop.....needless to say it didn't come off the old ship was removed but the barge remains.Taken at about 3pm on a bright afternoon just before Christmas with a 10 stop filter......6 minute exposure in broad day light....incredible.

Very nice shot. The picture tells a lot. The ice looks almost unnaturally smooth, but I think that adds to the beauty. I really like this!

Thank you. I think the ice you refer to is actually the river...not frozen ..but because of the length of the exposure..6minutes......has smoothed the motion of the in water, which is one of the beauties of long exposure photography. Thank you very for taking the time to look at this image and commenting.
