The story of Ice King reminds me of my own father...God rest his soul. Simon lost his mind due to the crown..greed and power corrupted him.. My dad's "crown" was terminal cancer & alcoholism to the point of psychosis. He lost his mind too...and became cold as the darkest ice...but inside his maddened mind I believe he was still the father that loved me and my family...somehow...I believe it...that he was just tormented.
