An animation!? Cor blimey!This animation has been sitting on my computer for nearly a year, I just never got around to upload it. So I enhanced it with some sound effects.
Sorry for the picture, but the linetest gets dark with the more layers there are.
Anyway, it was a one week animation project given to use by the Studio creators that owned Scratch & Sniff.

thanks alot man. still getting my head around flash and using the tablet. the worst part is clean up animation cos I am still working frame by frame handdrawn. Eventually I'll get the hang of it hopefully

oh thats cool man, cheers. and dont worry, i havent had time to play yet, still finishing off my current uni flash project. I think I may look into doing pivot points for the models? Is that whats its called? So i dont have to keep moving each bit seperately. I think it can be done...:s

thanks alot man. Even in CG animation, they sometimes get 2D guys to draw the keyframes to make it look right, because CG animators cant make it look good.

Nice smooth animation, expressions are great too.... the sound effects remind me of the game Discworld... rather cartoony hehe

thanks alot man. the sound effects came from this movie software pack for children. lol and some from the internet. If you watch my animated film again, you'll hear the same sounds. I only had discworld noir for the pc.

maybe they thought you guys struggled too much with it...or maybe they thought we werent good enough to have the choice. Or maybe it was unfair to mark between the two because one was easier.
Thats what its like this year though. Alternate strand people got it easier. What we do for preproduction for a film is their actual production work. We have to animate in flash, they get to experiment, draw and do little tests for 3 weeks.

Thanks man. We actually had direction and layouts for the scene, so we all had to have him come in, get hit and fall, but we had to hit each action by a certain frame count. So really, you could do whatever you wanted as long as you hit the right action at exactly the right time. It was a good exercise.

But cheers. Clean Up animation looks great finished and gives the super smooth look to it. I think unless you use the pencil tool in flash, you cant get the same smooth look without tweening, but i guess it comes down the the animation aswell as the line. Cheer though
