oh this reminds me of a guy from my school, he's got the same colour of hair but then more 'mohawky' it looks so good on him, I wanted to tell hem but I do not have the guts to do it.

i think you got me wrong here. i very much love portishead and i'm crying for 3 days now, that i missed the concert in berlin. i even like this song, i just dont like that it doesnt sound much like portishead.

I agree, "Machine Gun" fell a little short from my expectations >.< I've yet to listen to the whole album, so I won't judge it too soon. Whatever the case may be Portishead will always rock my socks.

I agree that their sound has changed a lot since their past releases.
I will say that I adore adore "Threads" though, I think it still maintains the old Portishead sound.
But change is good. I'm sure the rest of the cd will grow on me over time.
