Description
The Paper Gownfor best view- you must download
Yes, it's wearable, Yes it's all paper made.
The Collar:
the Rose took only 5 min to make, and 1 hour to dry
the paper strings took 3 days-to hand roll in the swirl and then to glue-in together, about 16 meters of paper string just on the collar;
The Under Dress:
took 1 day to pin up and glue-sculpt and whole 2 days to dry up stiff, 3m of carbed-tule paper used;
The Corset:
took 2 tries with measuring up, 30min to glue up all the lace and left for the night to dry, then half an hour to lace up with the paper strings and position in place;
The Skirt:
took 3 days to prepare, cut and pin-glue on the base belt;
The whole dress was put together in few days - the drying of the glue was taking the most of the time - I recommend a dry and well-vented room

oh. my. god.... everything's paper and wearable?! da hell?!?
I CAN'T REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I WAS THIS BLOWN AWAY... If this doesn't make the daily deviations or the front most popular page or give you a thousand llamas, then I dunno what will.

yes,I wore it, but at the moment of my exam I had to pin it down on the manikin so it won't fall of or slide due to moving it around

hard question,
it starts with passing the idea sketches first-like a few weeks to finally get approval to make the project, then it takes hundred tryouts and measuring
then when ur ready with all shapes and working cutouts
-It took me 3 days just to make paper strings out of paper-that was the challenge-ALL PAPER NO WIRES NO STRINGS NO TAPE
and just cutting it clean and cleaning out and putting it all in together took a few days,
and then waiting for all the parts glued together to dry out
in the end putting all up together took fast, measuring and preparing takes forever
but the effect is always something different then what I planned from the start,
since it's for school I had to make lots of changes to please the professors XP
it's still just 1 dress, there was lots off other stuff to go with it
so yeah it took long

I actually like the straight black-and-white of this one the most. But that's just my biased opinion. I think everything looks better in B&W
