Lookit.. a sketch done at school of a horse. Never drew them before, unless you count the time I traced them from a how-to-draw-horses book when I was six.Hey, I'm a 15 yr old girl whom is an animal lover, what can I say?
I dont really approve of the roughness I have here, but I'm too tired to fix it.. so sue me.

Great pencil work here such a range of texture and tone. This is gonna sound odd but as a kid I used to love drawing horses. There is something really relaxing about it. lol anyway great drawing.

Wow, you have the horse's eyelashes down pat
Kind of a weird comment, but I know a lot about horses, and people are always not giving them eyelashes so it looks weird.

His far eye is a little off...and the neck isn't curving correctly for the pose. but otherwise, the drawing is amazing! The detail in the wood, as well as in the horse is absolutely stunning. This is one of the favorite pieces I saw in your gallery... definately DevWatching you! Any tips for my work?

Wow, really nice job. The hazy background truly brings out the horse itself without letting the eye wander much. The muscular shading is done well in the face and the wood rings/lines are great! I encourage you to continue and it puzzles me how you can finish such great work in so little time! Everything I have drawn takes me soooooooo long to finish! Take care and God bless

Wow Kristina... that's great! I love how your pencil strokes on the horse follow the lines of the hair... it looks really good. I dunno, the ears look off somehow...
heh the blurring in the background makes it look like a photo, focussed on the horse so the background is out of focus.
