Description As requested by vickie /o/

1) base sketch, super ugly
2) sketch still; added in details~
3) First off, I must say that I like working with small sketches. After the sketch is done I change the resolution of the picture and enlarge it so the final picture will be bigger. I lowered the opacity of the sketch and added a dark outline
4) filled in the details with different colours
5) added in the eyes woop
6) lines art done! I merged the layers and cleaned it up a bit once I hid the sketch layer.
7) did the base colours in layers according to hair, skin, jacket, skull, t-shirt and ear insides. since I'm working with light colours, I put a base background layer so I can see what I'm colouring more clearly haha. shaded the eyes as well.
8) shaded the base colours individually cause I still haven't figured out multiply. D| Made a new layer for the highlights in the eyes after I did the shading of the eyes.

There you go; my general process. Not intended to be a tutorial or anything, but I think it can still be useful haha.

Finished product:

Let me know if anyone wants any other process/tutorial! tbh I don't think I'm that great yet but everyone's always in the improving process anyway xD

Thanks for viewing~ ^^

If you use paint tool SAI, you can color in the lines when you finish the lineart, saves yourself steps and time. XD

haha yeah I like the effect it produces! one can also line everything in black then colour over the lines in a clipped layer, but it isn't as precise ;o;

haha that's how I do it too, for pics that don't inspire me as much ;o; but if I like the sketch I want it to turn out nicely P:
