First off, this is a beautiful picture. And I don't mean just good or skilled, I mean classically beautiful; the use of colors and light give it a soft glow, much like old portraits tried to do to make especially court ladies look, well, beautiful. It's very pleasing and even calming to look at.

Other positive mentions is that you have a very good sense of proportions, angles and depth. Nothing seems particularly 'wonky' or out of place. Also, the bow just looks cool

But you asked for critique, so here it is: I have glanced around your gallery, and you are a bit of a slave to your style, it seems. This is perfectly normal; most people pick a style and stick with it. But I get a sense that you're trying to push the boundaries of it, and it's not always working. A lot of this seems to be, in fact, your love of soft colors. It makes the pictures look, as mentioned, beautiful, like they were made to make the motifs look pretty. And since I see plenty of warriors and emotional images in your gallery, I think you need to experiment with, for a lack of a better word, the ugly.

I don't mean "you need to draw badly", of course. I mean you need to leave soft, uniform colors and tender, delicate lines alone for a bit. Add grime, add rough lines, add harsh colors and dark tones. Think of it a bit like taking a pretty picture and crumbling it up, dragging it through dirt, then spilling a big, greasy burger on it. Like those ladies in the old portraits, what lacks is a touch of the real, harsh, dirty world, and that means moving away from beautiful. I think I can better show than tell this: It's the diference between this and this .

It takes a big step in your artistic path, but you look both skilled and willing enough to manage it. Let me know what you try it out on
