Description Just having fun creating some sample texts for the various alien languages of my setting. Each line is a direct translation of the first text above; though I've put some thought into each of these languages, they are by no means functional and purely for visual fun.

"Ancient" English - Little need to explain this one here; the one of the most common languages of the real world.

Lexikantum - The main Human language of the setting, primarily spoken in the United Sovereignty of Nations. This is the only "real" language here, as each symbol is part of an established alphabet and each word has a direct translation, all of which is archived in a working google doc. Hopefully someday I be able t transform this into a real, speakable language... someday. Making languages is hard.

Glaxingtosh - The main language of the Drox species, primarily spoken within the Supremacy empire. Currently, I have virtually no idea how it works. The only solid detail I've put into it is those little brackets at the top. They are used to denote different parts of a sentence. The non-bracketed part is impersonal: "Generally speaking,", while the bracketed part shows first-person ownership of the statement: "I think this is a good idea."

Farsech - One of the two main languages of the Xophronanir species, primarily spoken within the southern Clans. I have literally no idea how this language works. My main goal with this one was to create something that looked odd and complex.

Enoktish - The main language of the Ekton species, primary spoken within the Ektozan Dynasty and it's vassal states. This one actually has a decent amount of thought put into it. Each of the large symbols are consonants, while the little comma-like symbols above them are vowels. What sounds do each of these symbols make? I have no idea.

Iktaori - The main language of the Kalistryii species, primary spoken within the All-Hive of Kalistryiium. Again, I have no idea how this one works. My main goal was to create something complex and totally unique, with many crisscrossing lines and a base "X" symbol that each character is built around. The straight geometric lines are intended to contrast the smooth, pointed shapes present in most Kalistryii architecture.

Omnonon - The main language of the Fharen species, which is sometimes spoken within the Triumvirate League empire. I don't really know how this one works exactly, just that it's intended to sound somewhat like Japanese when spoken, along with many repeats of the same or similar syllables.

Thosskiit - The main language of the Vurtonaxi species, which is occasionally spoken within the Triumvirate League empire. Again, no ideas on this one actually works, just that I wanted each of the symbols to have a base "V" or "A" shape. It is intended to sound vaguely Arabic.

Doruush - The main language of the Hexlean species, occasionally spoken within the Triumvirate League empire. The way it sounds is inspired by "black speech" from Lord of the Rings; for the sake of a little expectation subversion, I wanted to make the language look pretty, while the sounds it makes are harsh and spooky.

Ore'et - The main language of the Nethetch'e species, primarily spoken within the Aligned Coalition of the Nethetch'e. I had no specific goals for the way I wanted this one to look; I just chose a random vibe and ran with it. The way is sounds is vaguely inspired by Mongolian languages, with many harsh stops and numerous vowel repetitions.

Kelteth - One of the most common languages of the Dyren species, primarily spoken by colonists and pioneers. Again, I just chose a vibe and ran with it when creating the look of this language. The way it sounds is vaguely inspired by Celtic or Germanic languages.

Torol - The main language of the Aldrakuus species, almost exclusively spoken within the High-States of Aldrakuus. I have virtually no idea how this one is supposed to sound, but it's appearance was heavily inspired by the Corpus language in the game: Warframe.
