I faved it, Blackmago is rigth it does look like pixel art. I don't sticht but I am interested in it, my mom sows and her mother before her did as well, so it's something I need to pick up

you're welcome.
It's like pixel art indeed... but on fabric, so you can sew it on clothes, bags, etc... make a mini-cushion/ keychain...

And you could do the same with your lovely avatars !!!! One pixel = one cross...

Having designs on fabric gives it a special touch. My modern-manly boyfriend craves my stitched designs to sew on his tshirts !

well i still need to improve at sewing.
as you may notice i am just new on this
and all i've learned is because uhm..i am curious and like to try always new stuff.
i still dont get much this cross style..may be i need to ask more?
someone asked me on past to try but...uhm i still need to understand it a little bit more.
fabric is.. >_> ? i dunno what fabric is.
is not felt i am sure
i just worked on felt.
oh well...me curious mode again : D

looks like our minds work a bit in the same way. I have a room dedicated to crafts, and I love to try new techniques !

I will be more than happy to help you discover cross stitch...

The fabric used is aida. It's formed of visible squares, with visible holes.

Then I'll answer your questions.

Basically you make a diagonal stitch one way, then the oposite way for a cross. As the holes are visible, the crosses look neat and tidy without the need of "sewing".
