this is how I do my renders (:I hope this works for u (and I really hope u understand it)
this is stuff you've seen in other tutorials so u will understand it easily (Since I like to do simple stuff xD)

Awsome tutt, I learned alot.
My only probelm is that you did'nt explay ALL the buttns that were pushed..AND I think I have a newer or older version of C4D than you, because the options don't look the same all over.
Now it's currently rendering though, so I'm gonna post a link to the finished product.
Also..I had some problems with the colouring..because it looks diffrnet in my C4D...
BUT I think it's a good first try!

i have a question. the tut is awesum, but when it gets to making the material, my C4D doesnt have that BhodiNUT channel. maybe yers is an older version or mines older or sumthing. i think mine is version 9.0 , but if you could maybe help me out if i could download that bhodiNUT channel from anyplace, it would be AWESUM. i alrdy have a sweet render made and i just need it to look kool with a neat material xD. i tries sum stuff but nothing came out really good. thanx for tha help!

it works on 9 too, it doesn't says bhodinut, but u can select it as lumas already and/or distorter (:

um the thing about 3D is, the only time anything is advanced is when you dont now how to do it, after that, its simple.....odd huh? anyway good tut, not that i would actually use it, but not bad, thanks for adding it to the tutorial section mate!
