I noticed how a lot of people do Gaara from Nartuo with a heart on his head rather than his Chinese symbol. I realized that this is because the Chinese symbol is supposed to mean "love" or something like that but I still think Gaara would be rather pissed to have a bright pink heart smacked to his head.It's a very quick job and a rather crapy one as well. I just was suddenly inspired to do this quick little piece and thought I might post it up. Once again my whacky sense of humor is showing through

I think it's cuz the heart in American culture (and a few others) Stands for ,the same thing, love so people put a heart as for why it's pink....I don't know maybe cuz their marker or whatever ran out/dull out coloring his hair and stuff JK.[link]

I think it's because peeps are too lazy to draw the kanji symbol, plus a heart is linked to love so that's why the heart.
I tend to be a stickler for correct detail though so I draw the kanji XD
But I think the heart's okay like if it's supposed to be a bit of a way off, then you can't make it out and it doesn't make a difference ^^

yeah in my fic she does and they become Gaara and Rogue of the Sand.
Since she can suck his powers she can see his past and understands his pain.
