Korra, Mako, and Bolin. The new team Avatar!!

I will leave my shipping opinions on hold until I actually SEE some of this show. However, from what I can gather so far: Mako and Korra are Mike and Bryan's way of making it up to all the Zutara fans, Bolin is the stand in for our much needed Sokka humor, Tenzin will be Aang and Iroh COMIBINED, and that this show is going to be absolutely the most awesome thing I have ever seen!

Anyways, went to San Diego Comic Con this year and got the first sneak peek at all the amazing work Mike, Byran, Ryu, Joaquim, and the rest of the Avatar team are putting into the Legend of Korra. It looks spectacular! The trailer alone had me screaming like a little girl.

Bit of information about the characters:

Mako is named after Uncle Iroh's deceased voice actor, which is so sweet. He's supposed to still be a little more serious than his younger brother Bolin, but not nearly as angsty as Zuko.

Korra will be nothing like Aang. She's more of a tomboy and has mastered all of the elements except for air.

Bolin is an earth bender and yes the two brothers have different elemental abilities. They grew up in a city founded by King Zuko and Aang where all people and benders of each element could live together in peace. So it's basically a melting pot.

I'll say one thing though... I doubt we'll be seeing any more Tenzin/Korra fans after this
