“Alright, you don’t have a very busy day but Mr. France is requesting snowboarding lessons so I want you to teach him for an hour.” My boss said. “Just make sure he doesn’t fall or die. He’s a country.” I nodded.
“I don’t let any of my students fall, kid or country.” I smiled and threw on my light red ski team coat. I had my black snowpants on and red boots. I walked out the door and grabbed my snowboard. The hill was being rented out by the countries who were on meetings for the holidays but they wanted to have a little fun.
“Bonjour, mon amour~” I heard someone say. I turned to see a blonde male with blue eyes. He held out a rose for me.
“Bonjour, Monsieur France. Comment ça va?” I asked.
“Trés bien, merci. Et toi?”
“Assez bien, merci.” I held the rose in my fingers. “I’m going to go inside to put this in a vase, I wouldn’t want it crushed.” I said. When I came back out France was trying to put on his snowboarding boots but was failing. “Here, let me help.” I said. I leaned down and tied his boots. I clipped on to his board and fastened one foot into his French flagged board. I strapped one foot into mine and we scooted over to the lift as I held him up so he wouldn’t fall.
“Merci! I never caught your name.” He said as we got on the lift.
“I’m (y/n), your instructor. And you are Mr. France.” He held up a hand with a smile.
“Please, call me Francis.” I smiled.
“Alright, Francis. Now, when we get to the top I want you to put this foot,” I pointed to the one attached to the board, “first. I’ll hold your hips so you don’t fall, since I’m goofy footed.” I said. He nodded and we talked until the top came. I signaled for the liftmaster, as I called him, to slow down and he did. I helped Francis off the lift. “Good job! That’s one of the hardest things to learn!” I applauded and he smiled.
“What does goofy footed mean, mon cheri?” He asked.
“See, your right foot is your strong foot so that is why you have your right attached to the board as of right now. I, on the other hand, have my left foot hooked in, since my left foot is strongest first. Though, I am (right handed/left handed/ambidextrous).” I smiled and so did he. I demonstrated how to put the other foot into the board and he did the same. “Good. Okay, take it slow at first. To slow down lean against the mountain while turning.” I said. He did as he was told but fell. I was right behind him.
“This is impossible!” I giggled.
“That’s what I said on my first try. But every expert was once a beginner. I know a lot of good kids who’ve cried after a year of snowboarding because it was difficult but now they are shredding the half pipes.” I smiled and he wiped his nose.
“I guess I could try again… with your help.” He said trying to stand up. I helped him and boarded so he wasn’t facing the bottom of the mountain but me.
“Put your hands here.” I said moving his hands to my hips.
“Ohonhonhon~ I didn’t know snowboarding had these perks~” He laughed and I blushed.
“Ahem… well…” I put my hands on his hips and scooted so that we moved slowly at an angle. “Its to help you balance-”
“YOU BLOODY FROG! GET AWAY FROM HER!” We heard. I jerked my head causing France to stumble and me fall on top of him. A blonde man with green eyes was holding a leash as it seemed that was connected to another blonde male who had blue eyes and a cowlick. “Are you alright poppet?” He said helping me up.
“I’m fine but please don’t distract me while I’m teaching.” I said politely.
“I was trying to protect you.” He said angrily.
“There is nothing dangerous around here for you to protect me.” I said back. “Now, if you'll excuse me I need to help Mr. Francis snowboard and it seems your… child? is getting impatient.” I said as I watched the blonde, blue eyed man tried to take off the restraints the Brit had him in.
“I’m sorry, love. I’m Arthur or England if you prefer. This git, is America though he is called Alfred.” I nodded and smiled. America freed himself and skied down the mountain at a frightening pace. “HEY GET BACK HERE YOU BLOODY WANKER!” England said chasing him.
“FREEDOM!!! CATCH ME IF YOU CAN IGGY!!!” He laughed. I turned my attention back to France.
“Here.” I helped him up and we got to the bottom of the mountain. We boarded the lift which two other males accompanied us.
“Herro, I am Japan, Kiku.” The black haired one said. I smiled.
“I am China, aru. But you may call me Yao.” The male with his brown hair in a ponytail said. We got off and I let France try to get off on his own. He fell but didn’t complain this time. I let him go down the mountain at his own pace and he did surprisingly well. At the end of the hour he was snowboarding very well.
“Alright, well, I’m off for the rest of the day so I’ll see you later.” I said going into the lodge. I bumped into a man who looked like France and a strawberry blonde next to him. “Oh, sorry.” I said. The strawberry blonde looked at me and smiled.
“No problem poppet!” He cheered happily. He had baby blue eyes with hints of pink. His comrade had dark blue eyes. The cheery Brit shook my hand. “I’m Oliver and this is Francois. See you later! I hear Matthieu calling for us.” He said rushing off to a blonde in a red coat and his hair was in a ponytail, his eyes were hid behind blackened shades.
“Hello, dollface.” I turned to see a brunette with red eyes. I smiled.
“Hello, I’m (y/n).” I replied.
“Al get your ass over here!”
“I’ll see you later, doll face.~” He cooed before walking over to the others. I shrugged and walked off.
“(Y/N)!” My boss yelled. I went back to him.

“You have a group to teach.” He said calmly.
“How many?” I asked.
“Five, they’re waiting outside. It Mr. Germany, Mr. Prussia, Mr. North and Mr. South Italy, and Mr. Spain.” He shooed me outside. I was hugged by one of the brunette ones and then by the albino one.
“I’m Feliciano! Or Italy! This is mia fratello, Romano but you can call him Lovino. This is Germany but I call him Ludwig! And this is Antonio, Spain. This is-”
“I AM ZHE AWESOME PRUSSIA!” The albino declared. “But for a pretty frau you can call me Gilbert und zhis is zhe awesome Gilbird.” He said presenting a small yellow bird. I smiled.
“Its nice to meet all of you. Who has done this before?” Ludwig, Spain, and Italy raised their hands. “Alright, Gilbert and Lovino, you’re on the lift with me.” I explained the basics and helped them. At one point Romano fell onto Antonio which caused me to fall onto Prussia and Germany fell onto Feliciano.

“W-would you like some help, eh?” I looked up to see a blonde with purple eyes, next to him was two males, one had deep blue eyes, blonde hair and a floating curl. The other had white hair and purple eyes.
“Oh… sure…” The blonde helped me up while the other two help everyone else. “Thank you.”
“Its no problem… I’m Canada, Matthew.” He said. “That’s Norway and Iceland or Lukas and Emil.” He explained.
“Well, I hope to see you later.” I said.
“LUKAS, WHO IS THAT?! YOUR GIRLFRIEND?” A loud blonde with spikey hair and blue eyes yelled snowboarding over to us. A tall blonde with dark blue eyes with glasses accompanied him with a light blonde hair and brown eyes.
“No.” Norway replied.
“I’m Finland, Tino and this is Sweden or Berwald.” The brown eyed one said hugging me.
“I’m Denmark…” The spiky haired one said bringing my face close to his. “Or Matthias.” He laughed and snowboarded away.
“Alright, guys lets get going.” I said and we all went down the mountain. After some help and many swears from Romano the lessons were over. When I walked back into the lodge I saw…
