hah,i found a way to do that,
take a well done realistic pic, and use the 'eye drop' on the skin, etc.
i check in gimps colour pallet > where it comes from in the colours,
it shows skin is rather pale.
? brighter, with all i have it darkens it, XD. (using certain different layer options brightens and other stuff though)
stacking i think is not the best way.
welcomely
ahahah! XD silly angers, i'm right on your front friends page, ... just a click away :3

Nah, I'm serious, something similar to the way American comics are handled these days. Some capture both the essence of cell shading and cging.

Great job! I like em both, but I prefer the one on the left more (classic cell shading style) because it gives the character more dimensions when you can see the highlights and darker shadings.

I like the first technique better cause it's more anime like and it fits your arts way better then the other one. Also it's more visible and it gives that "wow cool! he had to work on this a lot" effect and second technique doesn't have that it's more subtle and it can be, when someone is looking on the thumbnail version of the artwork, easily overlooked
And I think you used Cell as a pun...Cell - cell shading

In my option both are cool! This first looks more like original DB style and it's cool, and this second is awesome too but (it's only my option!!) I think it should be a little darken.
I still prefer this second one

I must say that I prefer the Calssic Shading, because it's original and nice but you're style - realistic is good too.

Gah! I don't know! They both look good! IF I had to pick I'd say.... realistic I guess

I would suggest that if you are going to draw in that style then stick with the cel shading and save the realistic shading for other projects.

Id say do in the middle, bit of the left with abit of the right so its clearly shaded but more smooth but not too

Gah, I can't choose. D:
The cartoon-y shading looks just boss, almost just like the series, but I know people mostly prefer the realistic style.
My choice would be the classic cell shading/coloring.

I like the job the you did with the realistic shading, the cel shading looks very cool o.o, it's complicated to decide '___'...
I choose the realistic cause with that one can experiment more in the moment of the drawing :3

Nice! ^_^ Personally, I like the traditional way...looks *slightly* more realistic. But if you're going for the true DBZ look, cell shading's the way to go. XD You're really good at both, so it doesn't even matter. Whichever you like, I guess.
