This is 's character - a magician Cyan. And it's still 10 free sketches thingie >>> [link] Hope you like it. He's casting some magic - even if the 'energy ball' doesn't look big it keeps a lot of power and information inside - so it's a very difficult type of magic (a person should posses very high skills to cast and then control it). So - don't do it at home except if you have a doctor's degree in Higher Magical Academy!Stock used: [link] by to draw a hand correctly which was the hardest part of the work.
Media: watercolor pencils mostly, Indian ink + acrylic finish

Aww! Thank you! It's an unusual color choice for me and it was really challenging! It's one of my first semi-realistic traditional works also that's why I'm happy you like it! It was a pleasure to draw him because Cyan is a great character!

Thank you! Hands was a pain to draw especially because I drew and colored an 'energy ball' before his right (the one on the left side) hand was sketched. (don't do like me). Luckily it doesn't look weird.

I can't find words good enough to praise it! >< Is so like him, you definetly got the character! and the technical side is so great too! great coloring, details, dynamic feeling! looks so fluent and natural! and the face, the hair, is all perfect!

I started it long ago but I had some troubles drawing it because I have never drawn something like this before - it was one of the first semi-realistic things I drew (I hope it is semi-realistic) - so it was challenging! It took much time to accomplish it. But I really like challenging works so I should thank you for it! I'm happy you like it!

Найдешь хороший референт - помучаешся немного и все получится! Так всегда - как говорится "глаза боятся, а руки делают" - я вот сейчас волка рисую...

Конечно, это же приз, который я уже 2 месяца мучаю с переменным успехом... т.к. там не только волк, но и эльфийка, кельтский узор (to follow) и красивый пейзаж... T___T

Спасибо! Хотя быстро - это только фанарты... а когда не фанарты - только поиски референтов отнимаю уйму времени, потому что большие хорошие референты всегда не под тем углом, а на мелких ничего не видно!

полностью с тобой соглашусь. Тот же прикол. Вроде нашла референт нужный, так он не под тем углом или ещё что. Как вчера, рисовала ребёнка и лошадь. Лошадь нашла быстро и то, что нужно, а вот ребёнка пришлось срисовывать с трёх разных референтов -_-. Это было убийственно.
