I love lizards. Have a great plated skink of my own, for this reason alone. Any inanimate object is made hilariously cute just by putting it on his head.

I really don't understand why this works as well as it does. The colors match very well, and the framing you gave it here really highlights the shapes. But there's also some appeal in the sheer arbitrariness of it; I mean, it's a raspberry on a gecko's head. Who on Earth would have thought of such a thing except under the circumstances your sister did - random impulse?

It's funny to think that the gecko had absolutely no clue what was going on. We put so much significance into the animal world, and it remains completely oblivious, just minding its own business.

Ah yeah, my friend has a cat and says hers does that a lot.
But there are times I'll be talking to the one in this photo and he'll seem to start licking his nose in reply, as if to say yes. Makes me feel just slightly insane, haha.
