I don't know why I like body painting since I'm usually so anxious when painting around other people. I guess it's nice to not feel so isolated when doing a piece. I feel like it's more of a collaboration than something I did by myself. Β There's also the very real sense of time and planning since whatever I'm going to do needs to be finished in one sitting.ΒRelated content

well the concept of deadline certainly becomes very concrete and you kinda have to embrace imperfection as you're doing it. To me it can feel really relaxing but I think it probably depends on who you are painting. Word of warning: all black colors takes forever to scrub off. Be prepared to lend a hand to your poor canvas

Sometimes when posting new art and thinking of what to do I often feel a strange impulse to do something completely different than the previous 5. Β I don't know why this is and it's certainly making art always challenging for me. But I kinda like learning new things and I'm not really that scared of just outright sucking at new things. I do feel bad about the people coming here as you probably are expecting me to do something else but I'm grateful anyway that you took time to come and see me wobble on fresh ice.Β

I, for one, appreciate it when an artist I follow exposes me to some new stuff I wouldn't have otherwise sought out! Keep being passionate about what you do, it's the only thing we can ask for!
