Hello all. After my "Mona's Moves" pic, I decided to do another Smash Bros. Brawl moves fan art thing. This time, I did Mach Rider, from the NES game "Mach Rider," and the arcade game "Vs. Mach Rider."Mach Rider, like Mona, is another Nintendo character who's name I haven't heard tossed around when it comes to Smash Bros. I guess I'm a fan of the underdog characters. Anyway, since Mach Rider has only been controlled while on a motorcycle, I had to use my imagination a bit. They did the same with Captain Flacon after all! Luckily, while searching for info on him, I came across a pic from "Vs. Mach Rider," featuring the "Insert Coin" screen where Mach Rider is standing, away from his bike, holding a blaster, so I had some lace to start.
This is in the same style as I did with Mona: pencil, then ink, colored with colored pencil. The design is largely based on Mach Rider's trophy in "Super Smash Bros. Melee," with a few elements from his look in "Vs. Mach Rider." The gun holsters and the belt going across his chest, however, were my addition.

Actually, he's a dude. Nintendo confirmed long ago that Mach Rider and the girl in the bikini with a knife are two different characters. She's actually Mach Rider's girlfriend if I remember correctly.

I bashed her so much in Super Smash Bros 3DS after release. But there are another good characters like Shulk, Megaman, Wario, Ganondorf etc. as an equalization.

Na, I think Dark Pit (he's cool, I like him since Kid Icarus Uprising), Bowser Jr. and Duck Hunt Dog are okay. But I don't accept Rosalina, Wii Fit (both should be rather assist trophies), Olimar (a bit), Lucario (why not Mewtwo?) and Dr. Mario (SERIOUSLY??). And it's a shame that Wolf, Roy and Mewtwo don't appear.

im fine with lucario. rosalinas weak as shit. wii fit trainer is just too WTF sakurai!?(seriously how many people saw wii fit trainer and thought" yeah that would be a great character for SSB!") why bring DR mario back!? bring back roy or mewtwo!

I think someone of sakurais team like Dr. Mario very much. Or they preserve the good characters (Roy, Wolf etc.) for the next smash bros and look, how the players will react to Dr. Mario, Wii Fit etc.. Maybe they will Mach Rider put in or already for the current Smash Bros as DLC.
Beside Mewtwo, Roy and Wolf I want also Medusa from Kid Icarus Uprising (I think she would be better fit and most of all be more individual than Dark Pit, as well I like him. And the size can decreased just like Bowser), Ashley, 9Volt or Captain Syrup (one more Wario-Character because Nintendo can make a lot of ideas with the wario-franchise [for example a Wario [U]niverse with all the bad guys from the wario-land-games would be awesome] and it isn't dealt with ad nauseam like the Mario-franchise) and Ridley (the size is no reason that he can't playable because Bowser is big too in the Mario-games and his size became decreased in Smash Bros, so why not Ridley too?).

Just to throw this out there... but there is a rumor that Mach Rider is going to get a NEW game for the 3DS that involves not only bike gameplay, but on foot as well. If this rumor is true it could give major points to Mach Rider being a character in the next Smash.

From what I've read from a Sakurai questionare from before Melee, he said that he wanted to put Mach Rider in.
He also stated that he likes Captain Falcon the best (from the original Smash) because of his manliness.
