Franky, I prefer this one. The colors look more realistic, and the lighting is not overexposed. You could simply increase the saturation on this one without making it majorly bright like the other one. I'm such an ass!

Ass? I asked for the critique. I am still learning the ropes even though I have had a photoshop course long ago and in photography is important to get a combination of accuacy and asthetic. I wanted opinions. Here is the latest version with just saturation, no Hue. [link]

I like the brighter one better actually. This is more how I would imagine a rain forest to look.
If it were me, I would try to isolate the foreground from the background and just brighten it and see how that looks. However, without PS, it might be impossible to do. (and more trouble than its worth)
