Well, it definitely wasn't for everybody, I can say THAT with certainty.
And if you thought the ORIGINAL show was a bit much, you didn't see the Adult Party Cartoon series they tried back in 2003! Spike TV showed it, and only six eps were made. That tells you how successful it was, but that's nothing compared to some of the stuff they did!

Not to mention that dimwitted cat Stimpy is playable in Nicktoons:attack of the toybots, hes an unlockable alongside Jenny and Gir. I heard Nick is going to bring back Invader ZiM.

Hm... Interesting... this overtime Ren pic sort of reminds me of a certain meme in which Ren (or some other character) says 'What do you mean you don't agree with me?! Do you know who you're dealing with?!" just before he/she smashes the big red button to blow something up or cover the world with a certain image. Speaking of which, have you ever looked up 'You dare not agree with me' on Youtube?

That WAS Ren shouting that. From "Stimpy's Fan Club," he fantasizes about being the club President (a la US President). The Button he pushes then blows a big chunk out of the other side of the world!
