Description
Full View is Better.Stupid title, I know. This is a drawing I did of Marvel Comics' Spider-Man villain, Sandman. Based on Mark Bagley's take from Ultimate Spider-Man (His face and somewhat his build) and hi from Thunderbolts (The choice of going with the Classic threads and how the shirt looked). I hope you like it.
UPDATE: I'd tweaked this a while ago. The shirt is more based on the usual form-fitting protrayal like how Bagley did him in Thunderbolts and not like the original idea of Terry Dodson's take of those threads.
UPDATE 2: I tweaked the shirt again. This time to make it more based on how the movie's version looked.

The way the sand flows from the arm is very realistic! Great character design using your style

Thanks for the kind words and compliment. I'm glad you liked it. I was looking at variois sand effects when I first did this and with a lot of my Spidey pics, the work of Mark Bagley, more specifically his Ultimate Spider-Man stuff was an influence.

I've never seen this guy, but I do know that he's in the new movie. And the title does work pretty good here, it's a good pun. Nice job.

I have a USM comic with spidey fighting Sandman but it had alot more sand...well, this is a good start but a more "in action" version is much better.
Cool work on the drawing.

Thanks and good point. This was a character study, though. Next time might very well be a more "inaction" pic.

Yep. His powers are very similar to Clayface's, only he can also turn him into dust.

Is it me or does he have a short and lon sleeve? Anyway looks cool. It would be more cool using his sand powers.

Thanks. Regarding that sleeves and sand powers, that's kinda why the right arm looks like it's short, but more right that I should've had a real display of his sand powers.
