Description
Batman and all related characters are the property of DC Comics.Taking a diversion from the requests I got for a second, this was inspired by my watching The Batman episode, "The End of the Batman", which had featured an obscure Batman villain called the Wrath, who basically served as a villainous version of Batman. In adapting him, that gave him the name of Will Mallory (the comics' version's real name wasn't known) and a young brother named Andy (the comics' version was an only child), who called himself Scorn and served as Wrath's sidekick. Anyway, looking at the episode, I got inspired to do a a villainous Batgirl, hence the character here, who I'm calling Fury, like the old saying "Hell hath no fury, like a woman scorned." And, no, the girl here isn't tied to the ladies with loose ties to Wonder Woman (depending on incarnation and pre or post-Crisis. The Pre-Crisis version of the Lyta Hall Fury was the daughter of the Earth-2 Wonder Woman).
Since she's supposed to be an Anti-Batgirl, I tried to model her a little on that somewhat.
Bio:
Fury
Real Name: Lisa Mallory
History: The middle sibling of the Mallorys, she, unlike her brothers didn't idolize her jewel thief parents and hence originally didn't join them when Will became Wrath and Andy became Scorn. Instead she focus on her studies in college until the night Joker gassed them after they were arrested. Following this and finding out about an antidote for the toxin they were exposed to, she decides to get the antidote and expose them to it. She then decides to join them when they renew their goal to help the criminals of Gotham, though she is conflicted.
Be honest, please. Good job or not?

I thought Wrath and Scorn suffered brain damage or got killed thanks to the Joker.

They were gassed and unable to unable to stop laughing, but I don't think they were killed. Besides, we're talknig comics here, so it's not like it couldn't be undone.

If you look at the end, they were motionless with hideous smiles. I hope the Joker used his non-lethal version of the Joker Venom.

Again, we're taking about superheroes here and a cartoon aimed at kids to boot, though.

Yes that's true. However, some characters did actually die in a show for kids. Like the Joker in Batman Beyond.

Keep in mind that Return of the Joker was a DTV movie, so they weren't quite as bound to BS&P as they were on the show and the uncut version of RotJ was PG-13.

Oh. Well, I wish TV was more like the 90's...even though we still get them on The Hub.

That episode had plot holes like a piece of cheddar cheese. If the Mallory kids' parents are in jail, could they not just visit them? if they are millionaires AND criminals, couldn't they bribe and threaten people into getting their parents released? if they want to do it in the true spirit of the Batman, they can stage a break in and get their parents out with their high tech gizmos. Speaking of the ir parents being in jail, if they were rich because they were jewel thieves, would their assets not have been repossessed for compensation to the people they stole from? speaking of money, why is it that Wrath and Scorn work for criminals and yet do not take any money? if they did take money, not only would they have an excuse for being rich and having all of their crap, but they would also look a little more believable. Instead, we have a man who is defending known murderers and gangsters who would-and did-happily kill him...or allude to killing him. That's not even crazy, that's just stupid. He didn't have any real reason to hate Batman until later in the show, so that couldn't have been his major motivation for dressing like him.
In the end, they made an attempt to combine Prometheus, Deadshot, Batzarro, Catman, Killer Moth, and the real Wrath together in one episode, only for him to come out disjointed, naive and stupid. I'm not knocking the idea of an anti-batman, or a Batman for the criminal world but when your motivations are this weak, your back story this lame, and your modus operandi this retarded, you deserve to be left in an armored van full of laughing gas in the middle of the street.
Speaking of which, what kind of ending was that? Batman leaves Walrus-man and Salmonboy to the police, claiming that "letting himself be corrupted would be the only true way to destroy THE Batman" and then the Joker, finding the whole premise of the episode as nutty as he is, decides to gas the heroes-of-villains and leave them to laugh before driving off. Then, instead of trying to help them like the "incorruptable symbol that he is, Batman puts on a little shit-eating grin and drives off with Robin. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!?!
Did he leave them so that the police could pick them up? do the police have the cure? didn't Batman come up with a cure? Did he give it to the police? If he didn't, does that mean he just left Wrath and Scorn in their smiley comas even though he can cure them? isn't that kind of evil? Wasn't Batman talking about how being evil is wrong? Weren't their two policemen by that armored truck? did Joker gas them too? Did Batman even care to check? Does the fact that Batman just left Wrath and Scorn behind mean that he IS letting them go? doesn't that contradict what he just said?
I don't understand!!!!!!!!!

I don't blame you for thinking that. A lot of people, myself included in retrospect think they've just tried to do a more direct adaptation of the original Wrath story or a close version of it.

In the original Wrath story, he was an assassin who wanted to emulate Batman's mysteriousness by wearing a costume, and wanted to take revenge on Gordon for shooting his parents. I don't see how the two are even related other than in name only.

Yeah. They had attempted something bigger than they had time for and it ended up being very strange. This and the rumor episode are the two that I have problems with for just that reason. Other than that, I love the show.

Same here, though I did kinda like "Rumors." Though Season one wasn't all that great.

I felt Rumors was a wierd episode. Everyone, including the media, new instantly that the person kidnapping the criminals wasn't Batman despite the fact that neither the police nor Batman himself were around to confirm it. I thought it was a great concept, and it ended pretty well, but put in practice, it still didn't make as much sense to me.

That is actually a pretty neat idea. I might take a stab at drawing her and Batgirl having a little grudge match of their own.

I like the design but not knowing the history or anything of the other characters I don't know how she fits in properly. From what you've put she's great.
