Description
Fantastic Four and all related characters are the property of Marvel Comics.Well, Wednesday, shortly after waking up or even during a dream, this idea struck me, as I always liked the second look Doom had in the Ultimate Universe--and technically, yes, he did sport this look as it was what he was wearing when he went into the Marvel Zombies universe. Β Granted, yes, it is basically a variation of his classic Marvel look and I don't advocate wearing real fur, but the fur did add a bit of regalness to it, so I decided to draw that with the goat legs and the mutation he had.
Hope you like the pic.

I didn't know Doom went through a mutation like that.Β It looks pretty cool.

Technically, classic!Doom, didn't. Β The 2005 and 2015 films took some cues from Ultimate comics, including Doom being involved in the same accident that gave the Fantastic Four their powers, and gaining actual super powers instead of donning a suit of powered armor.
I'm glad you liked it.

Doctor Doom is probably a predecessor to Darth Vader, and the goat legs remind me of this one part of the Bible (I cannot remember where) where Jesus will separate humanity into two camps: the sheep are the sacred and the goats are the damned. Someone told me that it was a metaphor for the people of God. I'm not religious, and although I grew up in a Christian institution, I don't believe Satanists are evil anymore.

I'm not sure that's what they were thinking of when they did it, though.

This was the first time I'd seen Doctor Doom with goat legs. It makes him look like a cartoon Satan.

True enough, I suppose.

I'd seen multiple interpretations of the Prince of Darkness. One version showed him with frog feet and goat's horns, but he was mostly human. It was some fresco or painting.
