"The clandestine Target organization caused this murderous convict to 'mysteriously disappear' from his cell a few days before his sentence was due to be carried out... and now he fights for them as one of their many cybernetically enhanced super-soldiers. To put it plainly, Gonzalez is a tank with legs. His mighty cybernetic body makes him nigh invincible, and even the toughest physical attacks merely bounce off his shiny metallic armour. He prides himself on his unbeatable record, and most of his opponents end up having to be scraped off the ground like a lump of chewing gum once he's finished with them. Blue and Sophia will have to fight smart instead of hard to overcome this heavy metal hooligan."

I randomly felt like starting with something I've been putting off for a long time; designing my throwaway boss characters. (lol)

By 'throwaway boss', I mean these guys are usually just opponents Blue faces in battle once or twice, and then they don't appear again once they've been defeated. They really are treated like actual videogame bosses, I guess.

So here we have the, uh... the 'Immovable Gonzalez' (To anyone that gets that reference, you have excellent taste in games). A rather unpleasant looking gent who looks as if he might have jumped straight out of the Mega Man X series. That's going to happen a whole lot more as I continue to rattle off designs for Target's goons. Not sorry.

I had a lot of fun with Gonzalez. The more ridiculous my villains/boss characters look the better, and going by how gloriously stupid his face ended up looking, I think I succeeded with maintaining that trend with this guy. He looks incredibly out of place next to the likes of Blue and Alyss, and that's completely intentional. One of my aims with this series is to have Blue and the main cast be a group of relatively 'normal' individuals surrounded by all sorts of insane oddballs.

Now to design the rest of those oddballs, I guess. I mean if I don't have the head for writing at the moment, I might as well strike a few off the ol' 'characters that have never been drawn' checklist.
