Having just cheerful or high-spirited art in your gallery is never a bad thing, if anything, it gives the viewers an impression that the artist like you has a good, light-filled heart with his/her troubles long behind her.
I'm not saying what you're giving your newest art some different or negative emotion is a bad thing, it's just that it may confuse your fans when you've already given them the idea with your happy/life-filled art. An artist with a stable mind and emotions submitting art with various emotional pieces to the world is...pretty nice, actually.
