In particular this lantern scene. So visually and musically GORGEOUS!!! *o*
So... yes. Tangled. It's great! I spent a lot of time making sure I was pleased with this piece. I really wanted to do the scene justice.
Also, Disney Princes are always SO DIFFICULT TO DRAW! D8

Yeah the disney films are normally to a really high standard, its the same reason I love the pixar films as well. They just have such a fantastic way of conveying emotion. I still think the studio Ghibli films are next to none, they are like the eastern equivalent of Disney I reckon.
The last two films I watched were Disney actually lol. I bought my gf Beauty and the Beast and Toy Story 3 for xmas lol.

Ghibli films are very beautiful, but you really need to have an open minded audience for a lot of them. Miyazaki's storytelling is based in a lot of very fantastical imagery and many very slow scenes. While often gorgeous, if an audience isn't used to eastern storytelling, they're unfortunately likely to get bored.
Oh~ Toy Story 3 was absolutely brilliant!! Definitely the best animated movie of this past year.

I know what you mean, they do have a very "fairytale-esque" sort of feel to them but i think thats what makes them special
Yeah was a nice way for them to finish up the series, does make you wonder if they are going to do the same with anymore of their films. I think thay always run the risk of ruining a series though if they overdo it.
