I already left a comment here, but why the heck not leave a little more thought on why I love it?
You already know you do the colors well, you also shaded nicely.
But what really makes this fanart awesome is the special pose and their facial expression. You can easily spot a true artist by the way they make a character stand, sit etc. Once they make a simple art, yet it's not near boring, you know they've done something right. And the interesting pose as well as the expression helps with that. You managed to make them seem unique, all while their original design was kept.
Very cartoony, and shows out your talent. Simple, but not boring.Β
