AAAAAAAA I can't believe I won stay tuned for gijinkas I'm already drooling at the thought of and hopefully more anthro/CS/animal work from me(?!??)

here's my entry for pairoe 's DTA nubeiru qt called Bashful Spring because LOOK AT THOSE COLORS on this precious babu ohh all the gijinka possibilities

I have no words

……except maybe a little backstory of what I would do with this child /WHEEZES

'What shall I do today…?'

His full name is Nymphaeaceae Pamplemousse but having trouble with it he would introduce himself as 'Nym Pamplymouse' (his first name pronounced 'Nim'). At his current stage he has a small propensity for magic in making young buds bloom during the springtime, and recharges his strength by floating aimlessly across ponds where he is best relaxed. He easily spends hours floating about lily pad ponds where he can blend in a bit better, appreciating the view of the sky and the feeling of water behind him when he lays out flat, and reaching maximum concentration when in thought in his fetal position (pictured).

In the presence of humans he does his best to only be seen in his humanoid form, which depending on the occasion is either as an apprentice mage, or student scholar/botanist; he dons outfits based on his own exposure to humans (generally from nobility), and what he can remember of the magic meister from whom he was separated from very early on. While he generally shies away from all kind of contact, he loves appreciation for his work and is often tempted to eavesdrop or even jump in on conversations surrounding the coming of springtime (especially in areas around his handiwork). He has permanent rosy cheeks that only elevate in color depending on the subject matter being discussed.

His long bushy tail is a strong telling characteristic of his, acting as a brush-staff with which he 'paints' magic. His only contact with the grand meister of magic is during fortunate dreams or periods of zen concentration wherein he learns new incantations and shares very brief conversations about his existence and purpose. In social situations he is very shy but also has a strong sense of determination and drive to eventually become a magic meister like his own teacher.

It's been a while since I've entered a contest of any sort because I usually… don't win these things o<-< WELL in case I don't I really hope he goes to a good home which is the most important thing weeps (just plz don't take my backstory ;7;'') yeah so I'm pretty attached now good job me wish me luck!
