Hey guys! I know, long time no post. AGAIN. lol But I assure you I am actually doing some more artwork these days! Although most of it is now original artwork, I'm still working on my "I will not Bow" Music vid animation among other things, so yeah. You should see an update on that whenever I get around to rendering the current preview and posting it. CX As for this pic, I colored it a few months ago and forgot to post it and had it cross my mind today while going absolutely insane with nothing to do other than lounge around in the house all day sick with pneumonia. I'm doing much better I assure you (other than feeling exhausted with a sore butt where they stuck me with a needle CX lol) just bored out of my mind because I know I should kick back and not do anything to strenuous to hasten my recovery. :3Anywho, hope you like the pic! It's been quite a while since I colored a sketch with my tint shading technique. Even more so with the actual burn and dodge tools (these days it's all lasso selection tool and adjustment effects). I haven't really done this free style shading since I used GIMP way back when. lol 2010ish? Geez that's a long time ago. Another thing I haven't done in a while is watch InuYasha in general, at least until yesterday (y'know, sick +nothing to do=InuYasha lol). I pulled out some of the first episodes and watched them, but the more I watched the more I realized something... as much as I love InuYasha I've finally started growing out of it. Not that I don't like it anymore or don't love the characters! Just that I don't need it emotionally anymore like I use to. It got me through a lot of hard times and helped me figure out a lot of things about myself and my life, but now I've finally come to the point where I don't need it to survive anymore if that makes any sense. lol That doesn't mean I'll never do fanart for it again by no means! Only that it probably won't be as much of a main focus anymore. Of course I could be very wrong. lol We'll just see how it goes.
Anyways, enjoy the pic! I'm hoping to have some more stuff posted eventually, but I can't say when. Whenever I find time most likely. lol

Thanks! I can't remember. lol I think it was doing one simple color to represent the power on one layer and then changing the layer effect to color dodge or another to give it that effect. Just lots of experimenting! Glad you like it HT. btw, did you know I drove thru your hometown around Christmas time? XD I so wish we could've stopped, but it was a big group trip and stopping at any given place for even 15 minutes was out of the question. CX

We drove thru during the day and unfortunately I was sicker than a dog all the way down. We were going to San Diego and of course that's when my body decided to check out with the worst flu I've had in forever. lol It did look very cool tho. I really wish I could've stopped and said hi! There's probably a good chance I'll get to come down again sometime if my husband has anything to say about it. I've mentioned wanting to go down for the western arena arts convention and he's determined to make it a reality if I wanna go. lol Wouldn't that be awesome?

Nice. I just have my family's Mercury Grand Marquis. Old and sputters once in a while, but dependable most of the time. They pay for gas to school and back. Anywhere else is my own money. XD
