Jewel hadn't expected an object to be thrown his way when him and Ice were saying their goodbyes, so it caught him by surprise when something did.

Obviously he had to investigate, as it had come from his best-friend, so surely she must have put effort and thought into it. Carefully picking up the locket, Jewel inspects it, and gently opens it. When he comes across their coat colors in little hearts inside the locket, he can't keep the tears from falling. There's small hics and sobs from the grey dracolyte as he clutches the locket to his chest, fondly thinking of his friend, even if she left not too long ago.

"I'll see you again, *sob*, sometime, Ice! I promise you...."
Of course, he knew the other couldn't hear, because she was back in her own home now and the portal was long closed, but that didn't stop the lavaling. He had to take a moment to breath through all his tears, before gently unclasping the locket and letting it hang around his neck.

When he's satisfied with the way it looks around his neck, he quickly rubs all the tears away from his face, and goes off on his own, alone once again.

"I'll keep you close to my heart, Ice. I won't forget you."

jewel gains an accessory from ice to remember her by! this will be replacing his earrings since i cant have both but thats okay because this is cute. [in the image they're already off because its not allowed so like.... where did they go? magic.]
