Destiny have no Hyperspace engines, only FTL, and when Destiny exits the FTL it looks a lot different, but still, nice Picture...

ftl does mean traveling through hyperspace, but in the show they say "dropping out of hyperspace."

Actually, Rush points out that Destiny's FTL has nothing to do with hyperspace. Methinks it's because the ship needs to be in regular space to gather data on the signal.

It did, but that's the Economy for you. They even stopped making the movies they said they were going to make, and published books that were going to be the movies.
But the way they left it off, maybe some day they can pick back up where they started, even if they released a book on the Destiny, they can still pick back up and go with the book or something. But only way that'll happen is if things turned out for the better.
That's a seeder ship underneath the Destiny, isn't it?

they cancelled this pile of trash because it was awfull and wasnt getting high enough ratings for the show to be finacially viable it had NOTHING to do with the economy it was based purly on ratings ratings that failed to deliver as the show failed pretty much EVERYWHERE except for the CGI.

Damn SyFy. It was getting really good when they canceled it and left no room for any kind of an ending at all.
I just hope that the huge cliffhanger ending means there's just the slightest possibility of continuing the plot line in a revived SGU or a movie.
