(If reading this, brace for a LOOONG rant on Team Fortress 2)

So recently Team Fortress 2 had released their yearly winter update, this time actually being considered a REAL Smissmas (Tough Break got burned!)

Sure it is lacking the two box standard (1 weapon, 1 cosmetic) we are so used to in past years (unless you joined in 2015 or 2016) but they had ONE of them at least being the cosmetic box (though it suffers through the "CS:GO syndrome").

On the plus side, the 2nd box, being the festive weapons, was "technically" added... Yeah, they just added weapons to be used in their festivizers from the Gun Mettle and Tough Break weapons and just called it "The Festivizer".

Sure, you could have just made a 2nd box and had the weapons already festivized, but no, lets make it a about 5% or 10% chance to with each cosmetic case, POSSIBLY have one festivizer in it and use it by first having to get the weapon, THEN using it on that weapon. Oh and if you collect weapons in both festive and not, you have to get two of the same weapon or get a 2nd version of one if you already have one, so in most cases, you will have to go and get one.

You CAN just buy the festivizer... for like 2 dollars! That's almost a box on itself, and at least the box comes with a hat. That is no plus either, half the hats are worth like 60 cents or less from this case because the rarity system sucks anyways! You might as well just buy the items unless one of them for SOME reason a not even strange or unusual hat is like the range of 30 cents to 20 dollars! Yeah, 20 dollars for a unique hat because the grade of it is either Assasain or Elite.

Trying to unbox wont help, the items that tier are practically rarer than an unusual, you'll waste more money trying, but the community makes it seem like unboxing would just save money, which wastes more if you do it. It's a vicious cycle for a hat shaped like a fox...

This box was what I would call a "hey, they tried" box, in which by that I mean the community tried and steam just put them in. Good for the community at least, they are 96% of the reason we have one anymore it seems.

But on to the point of what I am talking about and the reason behind the image you see above. For the most part there were a good 2 or 3 cosmetics out of the 21 I actually liked. But then there was one, it is called "The Head Prize", and you better believe, this is ONE prize if you get it. I unboxed it on New Years Day, first box, which is luckier than most people can imagine. This hat is suprisingly MORE expensive than the ELITE hats, the highest tier competes not to the Head Prize.

This hat, besides being a fox head, and fairly rare as a unicorn with 3 horns, is also paintable, AND ALL-CLASS! That's like 4 positives in one hat! Added to this, with Pyro's Cute Suit (also for engi, but fits better on Pyro) makes pyro completely look like a fox in a turtleneck sweater. But that is only 2 out of 3 cosmetics, so what goes into slot #3? After much studying and testing on a cosmetic testing site is the Pyromancer's Raiments, which on the image, is practically all but the "neck" piece.

This Smissmas update also came with some Casual Mode patches making it slightly "improved" depending on what you would call it. But I call it just changes, not better yet not worse.

But other than that, I like the current status of TF2, especially since after like 3 years keys actually lowered in price rather than going through several roof pieces like a piercing missile with a drill for a top... in fast forward... It went from 29 refined to 24.66 ref. That is AMAZING for traders who don't have a lot and want to buy keys for ref rather than money for unboxing, yet also HORRIBLE for people with a lot of valued items due to them now practically lowering in value... At least the unusuals probably will adjust to the key's changes...

Now that I should be able to trade again by the time this image is uploaded, I shall now get the Raiments to complete this Pyro set.

I did get a Head Prize after wanting an item like this to be made for 3 years.
I did unbox it so now its more personally close to me.
I made it pink both as suggestion from and also it made it 200% more fabulous.
I will wear it both with pride AND joy, not either/or.
Nobody is going to make me dislike it.
I would love to see people try.

This image took 4 hours to complete and is the first computer image I made in 2017, being on the 5th, only to be uploaded now.

Whoever made the Head Prize is officially now the greatest community player alive.

As the name shows, I named the set Roxanne, for no purpose other than to have a name.

The set does not have a tail included, I made it because it felt fitting. Yea...

Might do more drawing out of loadouts sometime.
