Description I was watching my breath hang in the air while walking my dog last night, and felt inspired to go a little further with Ed's interest in his "smoke." So here we have the Eds relaxing on Eddy's never-ever-used deck after a hard winter's shoveling. Eddy's showing off his skills by blowing steam jawbreakers, Ed's just marveling at the steam, and Edd's embarassed because in the process of releasing steam, his gap has emitted a mortifying whistle.

I put way too much effort into this. XP

You created an art of steam rings, right? I would like to request an art about The Ed's or Edd and Rolf driving a steam train. You can find my examples on my profile page of Edd and Rolf as Engineers in 2 different artworks.

Edd fails not only at burping, but at making steam rings. lol

This is awesome, by the way

But the effort you spent makes it look AWESOME. D: The detail on the porch and the snow is really cool-looking. I like their expressions too; ahaha poor Double D. XD

I really hope that patio is used somewhere in the movie...once I noticed it, I always wondered why they never showed the Eds hanging out on it during the summer. XP;

THANK YOU. I was afraid I was going to be the only person who was bothered by the deck's severe lack of attention or that nobody'd care that I put it in here. XP The most it's been used so far is for Jimmy to hide behind in 'ain in the Ed', and for Ed to rest the dirty Edd on in 'Cleanliness is Next to Edness', both of which just being interacting with its fence. So nobody has dared to actually step ONTO the porch. XP Maybe it's Eddy's parents' special area?

Eddy's house doesn't make a lick of sense anyway. Eddy's room has no canon door to get to the rest of his house, and I don't think that sliding glass door exists anywhere inside the house. He also switches between having a second floor and an attic, while his house exterior suggests he only has room for one or the other. His bathroom also seems to move from the second floor to another non-canon door in his bedroom whenever the hell it feels like it. XP

Ha, I know. It's pretty well-hidden, though...I had only noticed it one day when I was just looking at a picture of his house for reference, and all of a sudden it was just like "....has that deck _always_ been there? o.O"

His furniture is always shifting around in his room, too...as well as his room constantly changing size and adding/subtracting doors from itself. And changing where they lead to. His house is like a freaking dungeon maze or something; purposefully designed to shift around and confuse people. DX I'd never thought about the glass door, though...maybe it leads from his parents' room or something. XD;

It'd be awesome if there was an episode where they were trapped in his house because the arrangement of everything kept changing. XD They sort of referenced these errors when they explained there being no room for Eddy's brother because it's been hidden behind the wallpaper the whole time.

You know, what you're saying about his parents' room reminds me: Edd's parents' room is the only parents' room we've seen for any of the characters. We almost saw Eddy's parents' room in Jingle Jingle Jangle, though, but all we can see is a waste basket, the inside of their closet, and I think the corner of their nightstand. I'm not even sure if there's enough doors in any of the houses for more parental rooms. XP

Things like this always make me wish they had some kind of 3D RPG game to explore the houses and Peach Creek. Cartoons should try that, it seems more fun than the usual games based on cartoons.

What I want to know is where the heck those bricks over Eddy's brother's window are in relation to the rest of the house...I know it was just a random gag, but it still confused the hell out of me; even when I first saw it as a kid. XP;

Aha, I had forgotten about that one brief shot in Jingle Jingle Jangle. And yeah, I think you're right...there could be some room in Ed's house, though, since I think his is probably the least-explored out of the three.

I was disappointed when you couldn't walk around the houses in MisEdventures...D8 I don't know what led me to believe you could, though; probably the way they plunk you right in front of Ed's house after the tutorial level. XD; (Well, in the cul-de-sac, but facing towards his house)

Digging up an old conversation, but it just occurred to me. Perhaps the reason it took Edd from afternoon to late at night to go to the bathroom in 'Here's Mud In Your Ed' was because he couldn't navigate the labyrinth that is Eddy's house. XD He probably ended up leaving and going to his own home.

Either that or he was touching himself the entire time.

XXD lmfao. I did always kinda wonder what took him so long...I mean, even in the dead of summer, it takes *at least* a good forty-five minutes to an hour for it to switch from broad daylight to nighttime. o_O; That's probably why he went looking for them- to ask Eddy how to find the bathroom when everything keeps switching. XP

Lol. Hopefully, he wasn't still in Eddy's house (though Eddy does have all those tissues and lotions around his room...okay now I'm weirding myself out XD).

Ed's house seems to have the most unexplored floor. I feel like it's the biggest for some reason, but I'm pretty sure all evidence points to Edd's being the biggest. XP Double D's top floor has been lucky enough to have a few good shots showing how many rooms there are up there.

Sometimes, I turn on The MisEdventures, just so I can have fun trying to explore their world, despite the game changing a few things (the lane's not brown, it's purple; who puts a fence in the middle of the road?; The cul-de-sac's not branching off of a dead-end!). It's so colorful and the shapes are so... wonky, but appealing, I really wish they'd make some kind of Animal Crossing kind of EEnE game. You could fish in the creek and catch a Man Eating Turtle!

I tried to make one once. I wasn't made for game programming. XP

Yeah, I had a little difficulty explaining to myself as well why Eddy would have also helped. XP I guess he was just in whatever train of thought he was in when he helped build Club Ed. Or maybe his mom was watching through that screen door and he needed to keep up appearances....

Thanks!

BUCKLE UP, CUZ HERE COMES AN INTERESTING YET UNNECESSARY STORY:

When I was 10, I was just getting into EEnE and came up with my first fan idea: One of Edd's inventions causes a freak change in the summer weather, and they experience snow in the middle of summer. So 10-year-old me was designing the Eds' winter clothes, and how-many-years-later-it-was-when-Jingle-Jingle-Jangle-came-out it turned out I was spot-on with Edd's winter clothes, except I pictured him wearing snow goggles as well. XD I was also sort of right with Ed, except my winter design for him ended up being his fall design in the show, with him just zipping up his green jacket outdoors.
