Just a sketch I felt like doing. You all know I love this couple sooo much.I don't know about ya'll, but I always put my leg over someone when I cuddle :3
I'm guessing they're married at this stage in their relationship. At least, I hope so XD

These two are too cute for their own good. Especially if you age them 4-7 years from the cartoon, when Rachael has blossomed into a lovely young woman and Garfield has grown into a lean, strapping young man. (In the comics, they were in their 20s when they became a couple, so that's consistent with canon.)
If they aren't married here, perhaps they are engaged? Men generally don't wear an engagement band (though wedding bands are very common on men). Rae's left hand is hidden from view, so should could easily be wearing a ring. I also like that Rachael is smiling. She doesn't do that very often, so it's a treat when she does.
They are a case study in "opposites attract." She needs someone to keep her connected to other people, and help her to feel joy. He needs someone to keep him grounded and focused. In that light, they are perfect for each other.
