I gotta admit, I'm really digging the constant look into all of the character's thoughts. You don't see that too often, and when you DO, its usually only for a single character...or a one-off gag.

Beth has a very interesting character design she looks like someone who would be skinny but shes not and it actually suites her in a odd way, but either way I like it.

Yeah, despite it being a normal length width-wise, she has a shorter midsection compared to most of AnimatedJames' female characters. I like it though, it shows how he's representing people of all different shapes and sizes.

And Ms.Harverd is curvy witch makes sense because shes colored and colored girls are usually curvy, so he obviously did his research on what girls look like.Β

Despite the gradients in the background being a bit distracting and off, the character coloring has gotten better. I have a feeling personal witty remarks is going to be a recurring theme in this series, interested in seeing where it goes.

I absolutely love James' sharper art style and found this comic strip hilarious. I know he's probably busy working on animations as his main priority but I hope there can be a balance between Middle Ground and Thawts comicsΒ as well as animations.
