I think everyone meets at least one person like this in their lifetime, especially when job hunting.
The realism makes this funny on a whole other level.

After a few blogs she gets moved to the new political comedy department for those who hate it enough and can rag it enough to create comedy

Why not just publish her work in different sectors?
I mean, Cracked (from what I've seen) seems pretty open about what it publishes, like Dan O'Brien, he's garnered fame for being a huge president nerd, but we still see him on after hours, debating everything from Simpsons to Spiderman.

I love the art and story XD it was amazing and I just had to burst out laughing. I wish I could more... the reason of why I say that is because I'm really sick and have a migraine at the moment.
But I'm gonna try to suck it up so I can continue looking at your art because I think it's awesome. =^-^=

Yeah sad truth is that there is someone who will try to pin you down as one thing even ignoring your other interests just to make it easier on themselves & not for you.

So Valerie Thawts, in the first bubble, says "First off all" instead of "First of all" in the first bubble.
Other than that, pretty good strip.

Oh I like it Great job James ^_^ Kinda shows two sides how one's like a broad type who doesn't like to narrow themselves to one good thing; while the other doesn't like to broaden things. XD lol

I really like the thought bubbles in this, gives the reader an insight look on both of the characters. Usually in these types of comics that seem to have some social commentary to them, you have one character who represents the ordinary person or the reader and then another character that is a parody of what the social commentary is about, making the parody character seem like a bad person or at least not likable. But with the thought bubbles in this comic you see that both characters are people, which I really like
P.S.: sorry if this doesn't make much sense, it's kind of just a stream of thoughts
