I put a lot of thought and effort into this design. I was trying to do something similar like Batman Black & White Comic Covers, but included colored “Ben Day Dots” for the eyes and mouth piece. I specifically wanted to reused Green & Purple, colors I think fit the paranormal theme.A Lot of people might not notice this, but for the center of the eye and lower left of the character's arm. That is actually the design of blood from battle in the story’s future. I wanted to design something with blood stains after watching “Invincible” on Amazon.
As for the background, I can't take the credit. I used some three transparent background effects available for free use at stock.adobe.com/ . I wanted to include Bats, Manga Effect, and retro comic dots.
The fonts are from fontmeme.com/text-generator/ .
Everything else I drew by hand using my Wacom Pen Tablet & Autodesk Sketchbook App. Everything from the hero's side profile, to the Manga Katakana Title.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed drawing it..
