On December 27, 2019, jazz trumpeter and singer Jack Sheldon passed away. I will always remember him for his contributions to the animated series Schoolhouse Rock!, where he was the main singer for the show's two most popular songs: "Conjunction Junction" and "I'm Just a Bill". His performances for those two songs were so good, he even helped out The Simpsons by providing his singing voice for a parody of "I'm Just a Bill" called "I'm an Amendment to Be". As a fan of Schoolhouse Rock!, I want to give my condolences by making this picture.

It's interesting to note that Jack passed away on the 27th, but knowledge of his death wasn't announced until the 31st. I would've made this drawing my first of the year, but I felt it wasn't right to have a sad drawing on the very first day of the new year.
