Description
Here is a Sufer guy on a beach holding his board. Everything was done in illustrator. well, except for the original drawing, that was done with a mechanical pencil.The tattoo was created by , and de was nice enough to let me use it in my drawing, so please visit his page to see the original design and the actual tattoo.

almost perfect to me... i really don't like the sand... but the rest is very good... the surfer is gorgeous... the colors fantastic... and the tattoo stay really great there!!

do you have a guffy toe ( are you a sufer ?)
this one looks like my partner as is, and he is going to freak out when I show it to him...., but his board is trashed, he is to cheap to spring for another...

After finishing the board, I've been itching to do some mermaid drawings, so look for those in the near future!
I have actually never been surfing, but I wanted to practice drawing guys and well, a surfer seemed like a logical choice, plus it gave me teh chance to do some design stuff with his surfboard and boardshorts.

I do think the yellow streaks are a tad to much and he should seek another hair dresser for putting those yellow tons in his hair

the sand is a tad generic if you are using illustrator CS you know they have a texture tab
and you can make your own texture.

Thanks for all the comments. I actually really like his hair. I figured it would be more blonde than usual since he's a surfer, plus I just liked the contrast. I think I finxed the mistake on the palm tree, I wasn't sure what you were referring to, but i had cropped it wrong, so the diamond thingie stopped early.
As for the sand, I couldn't get the pattern thing to work for me, and I was too lazy to read about how to do it, so I just made up my own pattern and used that. Bad me! lol.

and yes I noticed you fixed the palm tree but you didn't fix his elbow
maybe rounding off his elbow would fix it? if you don't wanna its cool just thought I would point it out
