"H-Hey, ______, would you mind coming over here, love? I'm afraid I've gone and eaten something spiked but I'm not quite sure what was in it." The slurred english came through your phone, making you quirk a (h/c) eyebrow. "Not very smart, huh, Britain? Who gave it to you?" You asked curiously. There was a grumble from the other end. "Well, that's just it, the cupcakes were in my oven. It seems I dosed off for some time but I woke up again when the oven went off and they looked so yummy I just had to try one."

You sighed. Britain had never been a very good cook but he constantly denied it. His odd feeling of being sick may just be the bad food. "It did taste pretty good, but now I just...feel strange." Britain continued. "I really would appreciate it, ______." "Alright. I'll be there as soon as I can. Just try and leave whatever is left of the cupcake you ate so I can run some tests and figure out what you ate. Hopefully it isn't poison." You mumbled that last part before hanging up with the Brit, gathering the supplies you needed into your (f/c) bag and heading off to his home.

Once you arrived, Britain allowed you inside and led you to his kitchen where the half-eaten cupcake rested on a plate on the table, an entire tray on the top of the stove where it had probably come from. "Well, looks like you got a few good bites in. The tests should take a few minutes, so just rest for a while." You told him, pulling your (h/c) hair out of your face. Britain nodded, sitting down on the couch as you conducted your experiments. You decided to ask a few questions while you were at it. "So, since these were in your oven I'm guessing you made them?" You said, more of a question than a statement. "Well...no I don't think I did." He said thoughtfully. You gave him a questioning look but continued your task as he decided to clarify. "I mean, I don't recall making them, but no one else is here. No one has been all day."

"And you said you fell asleep. Was this before or after the cupcakes were in the oven?" You asked. Seemed simple enough. He had to have made the cupcakes first otherwise they wouldn't be there, but he could've fallen asleep before he put them in and someone may have slipped something into them. Again Britain paused to think. "Well...I really don't know. The last thing I remember was sitting down for a bit of tea, but I suppose I dozed off there...that's where I woke up anyway." You stood a glance his way. He seemed to be attempting to recall what had really happened, but it seemed far out of his memory. He gave a sigh. "Sorry, love. I know this isn't helping, but I really don't remember making them so I can't tell you what was in it." You nodded. "It's okay. Whatever it was may have caused some memory loss." You said before turning back to your (f/c) laptop when it pinged in signal that the tests were done.

Not a second later, the doorbell rang. Britain sighed as he stood, mumbling something akin to "Who the bloody hell is it now?" As he went to answer it. You watched him get up, slightly loosening the fishes was wearing. I guess he's warm. Funny. It isn't even that warm in here. You shrugged, checking the results on your computer. As soon as you saw what it was that was in them, you stood and looked in the direction the Britain had left in.

Vodka..........

You didn't hear the door open or shut, and the doorbell rang again. Maybe I shouldn't be here if he's got alcohol in him system he was never a good drunk... You thought, looking around cautiously. It wasn't like Britain to just leave whoever it was at the door, but vodka saw vodka. Who knows what it could do to him. "Umm, Britain? Where are you?" You called out.

No answer.

Oh great...where'd he sneak off to?

Ding-dongding-dongding-dong!!!

Okay that has to be America...

You went out of the kitchen to open the door-suspecting the cheerful American heard your calling for Britain-but were stopped just outside of the kitchen by a set of arms snaking themselves around your waist. You were held tight to what you suspected was Britain's chest as he nuzzled his face into your (h/c) locks. "Keep quiet, poppet, otherwise he won't go away." Britain's voice whispered into your ear. You struggled against his grip. "It's America. He wouldn't-" you were quickly cut off by a knife slowly being traced across your cheek. Your eyes widened at the action though it didn't pierce your skin. What the hell?! Where did that-?! Why does he have a knife?! America pounded on the door from the other side. "Open up, Britain! I know you're in there!" He called. He sounded worried.

"You called me here, so I'm here! Let me in!" America called. Britain chuckled lightly. "I suppose I did, didn't I?" He asked quietly, seeming to respond but not loud enough for America to hear. "Well, it seems I've changed my mind. Seeing as how I was stupid enough to eat my own creation. And here I was hoping to see America after he'd tried a few." Britain chuckled, but dropped the knife in surprise as the door was kicked open by a not-so-happy American. "Dude, seriously! What's-what the hell happened to you?!" America asked in shock, thoug it seemed he hadn't been talking about you.

Britain's hold on you loosened and you were finally able to step away, turning quickly only to be faced with blue eyes that had a strange tint of pink in them. Stumbling back you also noted freckles on pale skin and strawberry blonde hair still as messy as ever falling over caterpillar eyebrows. "'Ello, poppet. Would you care for a cupcake?" He asked with a sky smile. It was still Britain's voice, but you couldn't believe what you were seeing. Your (e/c) eyes wide you stepped back to where America stood. "Britain, what happened to you?" You asked.

"Whatever do you mean, love? Nothing's happened. In fact I feel better than ever." Britain replied with a cheerful smile. "Umm, what has he been smoking?" America asked. You sighed. "Nothing. He had half a vodka cupcake, but I don't think that's the issue." You said. "When I got here he was just regular old Britain. Blonde hair green eyes and grumpy attitude. He said he had cupcakes in the oven but that he couldn't remember making them."

"Oh, that's because I made them." Britain piped up, calling back yours and America's attention. "I also called America over so that he could try some. I would've loved to see him after a few bites." A bright smile covered his face, but it somehow sent shivers down your spine. "But since now you know they're spiked he isn't going to eat them." Britain said thoughtfully. "Umm, dude he made cupcakes? And they were good enough to spike?" America questioned. "They actually look edible, but I'm not going to touch them." You said with a sigh. Even if you had been a good drinker in general you didn't have any clue if he had put something else in them for kicks. "okay, but spiked cupcakes aren't going to change his appearance."

America had a point. You figured out the initial problem you were called for, but you hadn't the slightest clue about the Brit that now happily plopped himself down on the couch. "Oh, this? This was the grouchy me." He answered with a smile. "He wanted to be able to cook better, so he whipped up a little spell and conjured me up, so here we are! By the way, good nurse, I do believe I have a fever. Would you mind coming over here and checking for me?"

"Sorry, Britain." You said with a sigh. "I've heard that one before. I know you don't have a fever anyway. You ingested a vodka cupcake, not drugs." Britain pouted slightly as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Well, now what? We can't leave him this way." America said as she poked Britain's head. "Well, if it was a spell he cast on himself, he's the only one that would know." You pointed out.

America suddenly pulled his hand back as Britain jolted forward, holding his head in pain. "Woah, you okay, dude?!" America questioned worriedly. You quickly went to Britain as he glanced up with as much as a reassuring smile as he could muster. You noticed one of his eyes was green instead of blue. "Don't worry, love. I'm alright." He said, closing his eyes tightly as his hair and clothes faded into their natural colors.

As soon as Britain began lazily opening his eyes as if he had just woken from a nap you sighed. "Well, at least we don't have to worry about getting him back to normal." You said as you rubbed your neck. Britain looked to you, then to America. "America? How did you get in here?" He asked curiously. "I don't recall letting you in." America laughed. "Relax, dude, you didn't." He said. You couldn't help hitting your palm to your forehead.

This was not going to be easy...
